RECAP: Hands-Only CPR Class

On Saturday, May 18th, Rho Gamma Omega hosted a Hands-Only CPR Class. The purpose of the class was to refresh our knowledge on the steps to take in an emergency situation where someone has entered cardiac arrest or is choking. Participants were able to practice the skills to assist both adults and babies. A take-home guide of the steps, along with facts about stroke prevention was also provided. RECAP: #CAP Session on College Readiness

On Saturday, May 11th, Rho Gamma Omega held an informative #CAP session on Time Management and SAT/ACT preparation. Students learned the importance of being organized and prioritizing tasks in order to better ensure success in college. Additionally students received information regarding the basic differences between the SAT and ACT, pros and cons, along with test taking tips. #AKA1908 #AKARGO #CAP.

RECAP: Developing a New Beginning Through Global Migration

On April 27, 2019, Rho Gamma Omega chapter hosted a Global Impact program entitled Developing a New Beginning Through Global Migration. It featured Mr. Quabinah Jumah, who spoke about his family's migration from Ghana to the United States when he was eight years-old and assimilating into American culture. One hundred seventeen (117) pairs of shoes were also collected and donated to Soles4Souls. Thank you to Mr. Jumah for sharing his story and to everyone who supported the event via attendance and/or donations of shoes. #AKA1908 #AKANAR #AKARGO
