On Saturday, June 22, 2019, Rho Gamma Omega chapter volunteered and tabled at the City of East Orange's Community Baby Shower. Over 100 new and expectant mothers received a wealth of information regarding services available to them. Rho Gamma Omega members gave information on voter registration and the importance of voting, along with information on the chapter's AKA Operation Assist and Heart Health initiatives. On Thursday, June 20, 2019, Rho Gamma Omega hosted its "Planting The Seeds of Wealth" life insurance program. Robert Frazier, of TransAmerica, served as guest speaker. Attendees learned about plan options, aspects of cash value policies and more. As a result of the session, guests signed up for complementary policy consultations and evaluations. On Thursday, June 13, 2019, Rho Gamma Omega held a reception to recognize this year's eight scholarship recipients. Congratulations to the winners; all college bound senior scholars who reside or attend school within the chapter's service areas.
On June 8th, Rho Gamma Omega held our Tea on the Green Fundraiser at the Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth. Proceeds from the event will support our scholarships and programs. Thank you to all who all who attended.

Rho Gamma Omega and our guests ended the month with a fun Line Dancing activity. This event was held at Lifestyle Personal Fitness Studio in Maplewood, NJ. Participants were given the opportunity to learn new dances and practice them to upbeat music. Heart rates were up and fun was had by all. This is part of RGO's monthly Healthy Activity series, which was developed to get members of the community moving at least once per month on their way to better heart health.
