RECAP: 6th Annual Pink Goes Red Kickboxing Event
On Friday, February 21, Rho Gamma Omega hosted its 6th Annual Pink Goes Red Kickboxing class in support of Alpha Kappa Alpha's Pink Goes Red Community Impact Day. Women of all ages and fitness levels engaged in a high-energy class designed to get our hearts pumping. This class was held at Blue Life Karate and Fitness Center in Maplewood, NJ and led by our Sorority Sister, Ashley Howard. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Heart Association, which works to provide support and participate in research around heart disease and heart-related issues. Heart disease is the number 1 killer of women; we encourage all women to get moving! Exercise along with a healthy diet is a proven preventive measure against this deadly disease. Please be on the lookout for future healthy activities sponsored by Rho Gamma Omega in support of Heart Health!
