First up, we will share the story of our chapter member Barbara as we Celebrate Our Survivors!

"My journey began on November 29, 2018 with my first mammogram and bilateral ultrasound at the age of 41. December 13, 2018, I had my first biopsy and was a confirmed candidate of Stage 0 Breast Cancer. February 7, 2019, I had a lumpectomy to remove the cancerous tumor from my right breast. “ALL” of the cancerous tumor was completely removed from my body, to God be the Glory. The importance of self-care and utilizing timely preventive measures  is the essence of survival. Ladies, I urge you to please utilize timely preventive measures so we can continue to stand together and be a support to one another."
