RECAP: HBCU Symposium

On September 26, 2020,  Rho Gamma Omega Chapter's #CAP and the HBCU For Life committees hosted their 2nd annual HBCU Symposium.  This year's virtual experience featured HBCU alumni panelists representing Morgan State University, Howard University, Alabama State University, Winston-Salem State University and Virginia State University.  Panelists shared reflections of their experiences, why they attended an HBCU and the importance of HBCUs given the current climate. In addition,  university representatives from Virginia State University, Shaw University and University of Maryland Eastern Shore gave presentations on admissions, financial aid, and the benefits of attending their respective colleges.  Lastly, scholarship information was also provided bya reresentative from the United Negro College Fund.  Thank you to the participants who helped to make this event a huge success and to everyone who supported through attendance.
